Texas Monsters: A Lecture

If you happen to be in the town of Denton, Texas tomorrow morning, I'll be lecturing at the Emily Fowler Central Library (502 Oakland, Denton TX 76201-3102) from 11 A.M. to noon. The subject: the Monsters of Texas, including Bigfoot, the Goat-Man, the "Texas Chupacabras," sea-serpents, werewolves and much more!

From 10PM to midnight West Coast Time tonight, I'm being interviewed on Don Ecker's Dark Matters show on the topic of my Final Events book.

Q&A: Final Events

Yesterday morning Mike Clelland (whose excellent artwork can be seen in Mac Tonnies' book The Cryptoterrestrials) interviewed me this morning about my new Final Events book.

This Wednesday evening, I'll be talking about my Final Events book on Rene Barnett's NightVision Radio show. As Rene won't be around this Wednesday however, her slot will be filled by Greg Bishop who will be the guest-host, and who will also be interviewing me next Sunday night on his very own Radio Misterioso show.

Goat-Man: October 2

On Saturday October 2, me and Ken Gerhard will be speaking about our Monsters of Texas book at the now-annual "Lake Worth Monster Bash" at Lake Worth, Texas, which celebrates the legend of the town's notorious Goat-Man that terrorized the area in the late-1960s, and which is still seen today, albeit very occasionally.

If you're going to be in the area and want to come along, a good time will be guaranteed. Last year's gig was a very successful one, and this year's should be too.

Space-Brothers At The Paracast

Two weeks ago I recorded an episode of The Paracast - on the subject of my Contactees book. Also in on the interview was ufological legend, author, commentator and editor of Saucer Smear, Jim Moseley. Jim divulged much (some thoughtful, some scandalous, some hilarious, but all of it entertaining!) about some of the early figures he met from the Contactee field, including George Adamski himself. A lot of areas were covered in the interview, along with a great deal of theorizing regarding what may be at the heat of the Contactee controversy.

An Oklahoma Bigfoot Gig

It's a while away yet, but on the weekend of October 22/23, I'll speaking at the 2010 Boggy Depot Bigfoot Conference, which will be held at the Boggy Depot State Park, Atoka, Oklahoma. Good friend Ken Gerhard will also be lecturing.
