Over at Binnall America, you can find the details of a new, 2-part interview that Tim Binnall conducted recently with me and my UFOMystic partner, Greg Bishop.
And here's Tim to tell you more about it:
THIS WEEK:
BoA:Audio looks at 2008: The Year in Ufology with our special guests Nick Redfern & Greg Bishop (of UFO Mystic fame) taking part in BoA:Audio's first true dual interview.
Both good friends of binnall, the conversation quickly turns into a roundtable discussion on the past year of UFO stories, both large and small, and spans over 3 hours (hence our splitting of the interview into halves).
On Tuesday, 12/30 (or thereabouts), Part One covers the first six months of the year, beginning with Nick and Greg trying to talk binnall down after he laments the series of UFO flops that was 2008.
Then we discuss the Stephenville UFO sighting and subsequent mania, the alleged UN UFO meeting, another UK UFO file release, the Vatican endorsement of aliens, Jeff Peckman & the "alien video," the UK UFO flap from the Summer, and the 100th anniversary of the Tunguska event. Plus, remembrances of influential esoteric names Georgina Bruni, Arthur C. Clarke, and Albert Hoffman.
On Friday, 1/2 (or around that date), Part Two covers the latter half of 2008. We'll dissect the Edgar Mitchell UFO "disclosure," the Bigfoot Body Bonanza of mid-August, the Needles "UFO crash," Blossom Goodchild's UFO non-event, the election of Barack Obama and the subsequent UFO disclosure push, and the folding of Alien Worlds magazine.
Plus, we remember Erik Bekjord and Monsignor Corrado Balducci, both of whom passed away this past year.
Closing out the discussion, we also reflect on "what's hot" and "what's not" as 2008 comes to an end and what genres may be on the rise in 2009.
